The Village at Poe Mill

Building community at a historic cotton mill

Poe Mill first opened in 1897 and spun cotton that was woven into fabric for an 80 years. Two fires in the early 2000’s destroyed the mill and the site was largely abandoned with the exception of a skate park. Contour saw an opportunity to revitalize the area and turn it into a valuable part of the community. With green spaces, sidewalks, water fountains and a social center, The Village at Poe Mill is now a beacon for hope and growth in Greenville.
